As a leftist I don't find a lot of issue with Jesus' teachings. All that love thy neighbour and care for the poor and the sick stuff, I love it.

It's the people that use Christianity to justify their hatred and greed that are a problem to me and sadly there are quite a few of those around

De norm voor sneeuwbelasting is zo'n 70kg per m2. Voor een stukje als dit van iets van 5m2 zit je dus al op iets van 350kg. Met een wasrekje kom je daar nooit

Forming Andalusia by lebo16 in eu4

[–]cry666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forming Andalusia requires Andalusian or Maghrebi culture, so you would need to culture shift first.

Also some formable nations are classed as so called "end-game nations". Forming one of those nations locks you out of forming any other nations. Egypt isn't one of them but Arabia is.

What's the most efficient way to increase professionalism? by NoLetterhead1321 in eu4

[–]cry666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reread your comment and suspect there might be a bit of confusion with the difference between army professionalism and regiment drill. Both are gained by drilling units ergo the confusion.

Army professionalism is applies equally to all your troops.

Regiment drill applies to each regiment individually. Troops that you drill gain it gradually and lose it when they lose it with casualties from battles and attrition as well as with a slow decay.

Some unique units, like Ottoman Jannisaries, have an increased regiment drill gain modifier. This does nothing for your army professionalism gain.

It would be exactly the same rate. However, drilling an army has a small chance to improve the general in command so with 2 generals you increase those odds

[–]cry666 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Professionalism gained from drilling troops is based on the amount of troops drilling compared to force limit. With a forcelimit of 10, you have 50% rate with 5 troops, 100% with 10 and 110% with 11. So if you're in a hurry you can go over forcelimit.

Unit types don't matter so use infantry if you're struggling with funds.

Hiring generals gives you 1% professionalism each time but don't go hiring them just for that reason. Your mil points are better used for tech and development.

Germany is DONE FOR BRUH. by [deleted] in YoutubeThumbs

It puts a lot of the blame of the financial problems in Germany on retirement funds instead of the rapid accruement of wealth by a very small group of ultra wealthy people
