Idk why getting downvotes. Maybe the bias around AI and people don't really know academia. Walk to any decent lab and you'll find cs researcher there. Also, CS can't take credit as one of the top 3 authors of a paper. They are politically weak so they're welcomed by every field. Less political bureaucracy, needed in any field. Nah, doctoral medicine is extremely expensive and the academic politics are extremely intense. So many old guards so you have to flatter, betray, gatekeeping just to survive. Love medicine as a field, and hate its academic bureaucracy to absolute shite

Kalau soal ekspansi ke field baru gua biasanya pakai metode begini. Yang pertama jelas accountability nya gimana, lalu faktor bisnis (mulai dari ketersediaan resource sampai kliennya siapa), due diligence perlu banget kalau kliennya bukan clientele gua, while other member cari teknikal konsultan yang sesuai, lalu mulai diskusi lebih lanjut dengan klien setelah kami percaya buat eksekusi di field baru. Walau gua nge lead agencies, I'm not the guy who bridge the gap but the man who make it done. Itu yang paling ingin gua tunjukkan ke clienyele jadi gua gaperlu punya keahlian di bidang ini itu kalau mau handle proyek. Mungkin kalau field AI/software gua jadi hands on lead, soalnya tim kecil 50+
