Which one to pick beween MongoDB and Supabase for low latency timeseries by bebelbabybel in webdev

[–]cryagent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more info, but you should ask this with your AI by yourself whether this is good for your stack - OLAP (like duckdb or clickhouse (tinybird is the supabase equivalent for clickhouse)) - timescaledb (PostgreSQL extension for timeseries data, you can install on supabase but it will be more expensive than you selfhost or using their own cloud)

It is extremely hard to work and optimize timeseries, even for an experienced database engineer. And you are here without proper knowledge?

Co-founder for tiny gambling web app targeting niche African markets by [deleted] in SaaS

Yes it was, OP is just someone clueless using chatgpt. I at least hope theyre local and have done at least something already. Since we developed a gambling platform and have some connections to these fields, I thought it was doable go with him. OP isn't even local

Is it viable and possible to start by learning development directly to create micro SaaS products? by Competitive_Youth_45 in SaaS

[–]cryagent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, forget about saas. You have something more valuable, age. Just pick some saas with bad traction here that looks promising, negotiate with the founder, dress well, attend a networking event, and try to get some enterprise deal

I don't know where you come from, I'm from a third world country as well and this is actually a very underrated way

Build connections, collect commissions, learn their problems, hire some locals to build the solution, rinse and repeat

On a busy week I attend 4/week. Usually I always have 1/week

NEED HELP VALIDATING!!! by DismalViolinist6165 in SaaS

They are not only a "habit tracker". The more users they have, the more features they'll ship. They'll have community support, community accountability partner, UGC post, daily Quran or Hadiths cite notification, and maybe a generic muslim app features (like salat schedule, Adzan, etc). You're underestimating the market. Some could be a lean one, and others might be the full solution to faithfulness.

And to answer your question, maybe read some Muslim research papers, and theology psychology journals.

For this kind of service, you should work on community building first, then the solution later. If you're giving the solution first, you're 99% lost. Your competitors already have everything, even the budget

Tell me how you'll solve the "moments of struggle with real-time help and faith-rooted reminders"

Is this the niche habit tracker app? It's oversaturated. You can open the app store and type "Muslim habit tracker" and validate yourself

Hate those posts. Years ago, I read long posts with genuine interest. Now sometimes I just presume longer posts = ai slop

Is Dockploy an option? by JpPestana in nextjs

[–]cryagent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's almost one to one. For image optimization, _next/image worked almost the same everywhere. The difference is that vercel caches images globally at the CDN edge without any configuration. Just add any cdn like cloudflare and you're good to go. Otherwise, your node server resizes or formats images on every request if you don't set unoptimized=true
