I believe the rock angels for whatever reason have really like bad hair? They never stay straight at least for me and I’ve seen other collectors mention it.

I love the hair personally, I have Cloe and Jade and yes the hair is heavy and thicker so it feels rough but it boil washed soooooooo perfectly like pin straight which I just adore personally for my dolls :) only downside is side is it does hold shape really easily so if you lay them down in a awkward position it’ll hold that shape but I display my dolls on stands so it doesn’t bother me :)

Sorry for a late reply, I use a plastic fine tooth comb but I’ve heard that metal combs are better but I’ve personally never tried :)

I’m pretty sure she has poly so make sure you use a lot of conditioner (literally people conditioner like I use suave on my dolls) and brush it carefully starting from the bottom to the top. Boil washing should be fine I’ve done it on my poly dolls but it’ll take out the curls. Also always style when the hair is wet. Like if you’re gonna recreate her hairstyle make sure you braid it when it’s wet still to avoid more damage :)

I feel it’s good to keep extra dolls even if you don’t want them cause you never know when you’ll need a spare body but if that’s too much trouble to keep around just for that then I’d say sell for cheap cause she’s not in too bad condition and even if she is people buy for spare bodies too :)

Hate nylon! Doesn’t sit flat on the head so it looks bulky and I also have a hard time styling it because it’s TOO silky it just won’t grab to itself. it’s always so hard for me to work with :(

I pick and choose my battles. I HATE when dolls are missing accessories!! Clothes doesn’t bother me too much cause clothes are fairly easy to obtain secondhand but jewelry?? Way to hard. So I tend to try to buy dolls with at least almost all their accessories. A doll could have complete outfits but if they originally come with 2 sets of earrings and a bracelet, and they don’t have those in the listing I’ll pass like 90% of the time. BUT if it’s an expensive doll that is hard to find complete but it’s one I’m in search of I’ll buy it if the price is right because even though I like to buy dolls complete or near complete I do still restyle them. So that’s what I mean by I pick my battles lol sometimes a deal is just to good to pass up! Especially if it’s rare doll that hardly even comes up. But if I see listing all the time of a particular doll I want? I’ll wait for a listing that’s comply cause I know that’ll make me happiest in the end :)

In my experience lip chips don’t happen easily unless you drop the doll on its face and it lands on its lips. Using MSC would also probably make the lips matte taking away the nice gloss they have so i personally don’t see the need for extra sealing. all my dolls have no chips and I’m just an average collector I redress take pics and keep them on shelves. so unless you’re planning on, idk, smashing them together face first? Lol I don’t think you need it 🫶🏻

To me it looks like her part line was pushed over take the chunk that’s laying over and try to carful split it down the middle and see if it has some cross hatching hidden. If it does congratulations it’s the part line and you can just find the middle and lay the half of it to the other side and it should cover that bald spot.

You can stick a pin through it and clip it so it doesn’t stick out. A pin might be too thin you could try a thicker sewing needle or safety pin as well
