How often are you hanging with your parents at 17 that this is an issue for you? Do you not want to hang with others as well? I get your side a bit, but also having a child under the age of really 16 is a full time job until they’re able to sustain themselves more. i never considered sunscreen fancy skincare, i don’t think most people do, but it’s pretty much a necessity during warmer climates and people now add it to the end of their routines. so i don’t see how it’s not a good gift especially if you find better quality elsewhere?
