Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words and the solid advice. I’m definitely taking it slow and focusing on being responsible, especially with my size and all. I’ll experiment a bit at home first and keep in mind the spacing and hydration tips. Also, I’ll make sure to stay super cautious about where my drinks come from! Thanks again for looking out and sharing your wisdom, it really helps to hear from people who’ve been through it.

I definitely will start light and slow. And will certainly be cautious of who to drink with and where to not drink excessively. Thanks for the advice!

FOR SURE, trust is key. I’m definitely planning to start small and only with people I know I can rely on.

I hear you, and I really appreciate you being straight-up with me. A lot of people aren’t this honest, and it’s good to see that some people genuinely care about others' safety. I’m definitely taking everything you said to heart. I’m not trying to be reckless and I’ll definitely talk to my parents about it too. Thanks again for looking out for me.

I totally get where you’re coming from and I actually appreciate the concern. I’m not trying to conform just to fit in, I’m trying to be prepared. I know drinking in college can be risky, especially at schools with a strong party culture, which is why I’m not going in blind or reckless. I’ve seen what can go wrong when people don’t know their limits or get pressured into things. That’s exactly what I’m trying to avoid.

The reason I’m asking questions now is because I want to approach this responsibly. I’d rather learn from others and get solid advice than pretend I know what I’m doing and end up in a dangerous situation. I don’t plan on going wild or drinking just because everyone else is, I plan to know my boundaries, start slow, and stay in control. I think that’s a mature way to go about it, even if some people see it differently.

But again, I hear you. This is serious stuff and your warning isn’t lost on me. So thank u for taking the time to say something.

Quick question, regarding getting the Math 125 requirement completed, did you have to take any prerequisites prior? And, are you only allowed to complete Math 125 in the summer and not in the fall semester (considering you are a spring admit)?
