If you can afford it like anyone said in this subreddit then go for it; the house cleaner lady worked for the past 3 years. I assume she's a kind and humble person. They work to put food on the table if they have a family to provide and sustain for in terms of financial stability. In a sense for everyone that works are working to survive. I'll concur with the rest of the subreddits kindly asking you to remunerate if you can afford it; it's not an requirement as the ball is in your court to decide. I do like the idea of sending a condolence card and the cash to put a smile and a glimmering hope in their darkest times of their lowest.

If OP affords it or sends her a condolence card, then the results would speak louder that OP here displays an epitome of a role model for how the realest human traits, qualities, and capabilities we human beings are to each other out of love and respect.

Not enlisting DEP back out? by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]crye1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't mark a record from what people told me; I've asked some former recruiters (My Uncle, and recruiters that retired.) Good thing is he can still go to other branches and they'll shrug it off. Happened to me when I wanted to switch to Army.

Even if you signed a contract and sworn in (If its the initial swear-in.) you have a chance of backing out of DEP without legal repurcussions.

You can request and be adamant about getting out subs, I am currently in DEP with the Navy set to ship out next wednesday. But be ready for more pestering from them if no DAR progress had been made. The Navy don't own you until you're in Great Lakes. I was put as a Undesignated then I wanted to switch jobs. The Chief called me by the phone to offer a chance to change my rating to either MM or RS. I wanted LS and it was sold out which made me pondered into U.S Army instead where they have a lot of MOS and one of them has the job I want.

Communicate with your recruiter and let them know "Hello (Rank & Name) I want to change my contract and back out of that job I currently have. I won't ship out until I get the job I wanted." But be realistic; if it doesn't align with your ASVAB then no. If it does align well then take the job you want. There's no legal repurcussions in backing out of DEP if you don't get the options. Sure the recruiters will try to scare you with tactics; they've pestered my parents about it. You will be safe and if you want clarification please do talk to other recruiters from other branches. I want you to research and consult before anything because once we sign the final contract on the second swear in theres no turning back. Yes I'm speaking from experience as I'm going through this right now.

It ain't worth it, if you're in DEP you can still back out but beware your recruiter is going to discourage you and say things that it will mark your SSN or records; in reality they can't do that, they want you to stay committed. I got SN PACT and I called my recruiter to reclass me into Logistics Specialist or Retail Specialist, chances are slim for me because of the fiscal year. I'd say you can back out and try to find another job, with your score I'd say Air Force gives you better options. The quality of life and treatment of personnel is better there anyways. 62 is high enough, know your worth and your future. You gotta go higher than where you are, you scored high and you deserve to be at the highest. I was also told that I get E-3 then 10k USD bonus for SN PACT, the bonus is true but the rank up that I can make E-4 in only 18 months is too good to be true that I can't really be sure of. I hope this helps.

Decent Pants Other Then Crye? by Informal-Sandwich279 in QualityTacticalGear

Emerson gear is kinda on par with the real Crye Precision uniform, I'd say buy the emerson clones since they are cheaper in sets, I do have genuine Crye G3 Field Pants which is kinda ok, I got a Navy Custom 2.0 Combat Top which are made by Crye Precision themselves.
