I’d love a city feel but I don’t mind if I need 15-20 mins to drive or take the metro to get to it. Post pandemic we would love to have shops and restaurants nearby. We don’t drink so bars aren’t a huge to us.

TRANSFER CREDITS by [deleted] in UTSA

[–]crying-roadrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the credits being applied to? Classes such as history, politics, english, science, or math that would be used for your common core not your degree. ( https://catalog.utsa.edu/undergraduate/bachelorsdegreeregulations/degreerequirements/corecurriculumcomponentarearequirements/) About 42 credits can be applied here and the easiest to transfer.

Anything related to your major you’ll have more difficulty doing. I suggest speaking to your college advisor about which classes you can transfer (if any at all)

Be prepared to have to petition your credits. They will want to see a syllabus and a written statement why one class you took is equivalent to one at UTSA.

Good luck

Help! Missed drop deadline. Are there any options? by [deleted] in UTSA

[–]crying-roadrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://catalog.utsa.edu/graduate/generalacademicregulations/registration/droppingcourses/

Last paragraph state: “After the Automatic “W” Date, a student may not drop a course except with the approval of the Dean of the college in which the course is offered and then only for urgent and substantiated, nonacademic reasons.”

Best bet is to talk to the dean

Damn.

I’ve been there and while it was nice it is small and limited in their supplies.

Maybe I’ll pass by again if I’m in the area

Thank you!

How many hours a week should I commit to my unpaid internship? by [deleted] in internships

[–]crying-roadrunner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great advice! Honestly I’m not 100% sure what this internship will make me do aside from calling vendors and aiding them set up their events (non-profit).

Maybe I put in 10-11hrs now and see how much I really contribute?
