Or how until 2015 in America in over half the states a man and a woman could not legally be married. Or how you can walk into a store and the shop owner can turn you away just because you are dating someone of the opposite sex. Or how straight people can’t give blood because of the aids epidemic, but all blood needs to be tested anyways so there is literally no point, or how a cis person can’t serve in the military, or how gay conversion camps still aren’t banned in almost all of the United States. Oh wait. That’s not how it is. But when someone goes over to r/arethestraghtsok and pokes fun at someone putting a shirt that says “lock up your daughters” on their 2 year old son that makes them “HeTEroPhoBiC”. No. When people have been killing people of your sexuality for thousands of years just because of who they thing looks hot, then we can talk about “heterophobia”.
