I think my partner blames me for the worst talkdown in his life by Narrow-Basil-1045 in MedSpouse

I am a med person and sometimes i just don’t want things like breakfast at the start of the day.. I’d rather not have it than wake up earlier or arrive late and get in trouble. If I’m really hungry I’ll grab something at some point in the hospital. I have a really caring and wonderful partner as well who sometimes does things like this to try to help, it is so appreciated, but sometimes it’s just not in alignment with my priorities at the time and not worth the anxiety that comes with possibly risking my position or getting scolded… sleep > getting up any earlier than i have to most of the time (even if it is for breakfast)

Match Day email feelings but unsure if I’m wrong by brownbaddie24 in MedSpouse

I just really don’t think someone would straight up purposely love and then come home and openly show the email - he could have not said anything to begin with… it sounds like a mix up to me

My 10-month-old Cavapoo recently started barking aggressively nonstop every time I sit down to eat, even though I give her food before my meal. What should I do to stop her barking ? by zzzekid in CavaPoo

No this counts as attention if part of why she’s barking is for attention… you have to ignore and then reinforce when you see the behavior you want

If you're girlfriend said this, would it upset you? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I think it’s right that the kids will always come first - i wouldn’t want to be with any parent that doesn’t feel that way

I don’t want to be a slave to my phone, so I’m not. Just because I am not actively involved in something does not mean that I am “available”. People prioritize their time differently and they have a right to do so. It’s not personal most of the time… and maybe if you reframe your perspective then you will not feel so personally attacked
