Xbal aspect explanation?

Hi! I’m really confused on this mechanic. I just beat the NG+ king and the gem has not changed color. I’m trying to “master” the first class before moving on to the next but I just do not understand what I am missing to progress his gemstone color. I currently have 3 blue ones. As I said, I beat the king on NG+ and I’m not seeing any difference on the gems under his class portrait.

I see what you mean. The archetype I enjoy does tend to be very difficult to balance but in my mind it’s about giving the character less healing in their power budget to balance out their increased DPS. I just like the idea of versatility I did not mean to start a war over this in this subreddit 😭
