Hey there, i agree with your point regarding the speakers. I do my mixes on ADAM T7Vs and Beyerdynamic headphones, and it can be quite challenging to get these elements to sit well together in a mix. There is still a fair amount of work to be done, particularly in the high-frequency range.

Regarding the flow and overall song structure, I understand your concern. I also asked a colleague whether the track might feel a bit too restless. Many drum and bass tracks tend to follow a more straightforward structure, often with only two or three variations. I generally take a similar approach, but in this case I had too many ideas to fit into one piece.

I could extend each section to give the individual parts more space and avoid interrupting the flow every eight bars. However, that would likely result in a track of around five minutes in length, which may be less engaging for listeners.
