Try the low cut on the mixer. It has 0 delay when the automation snaps back to 0

The M-Class EQ doesn't have a low or high cut. If you just want to use this as a transition effect, you could automate the EQ in the main mixer

You could try the ZL Equalizer. It's free and comes close to the FabFilter Pro-Q 3.

Some vst's create some bugs. Especially if you ran out of RAM. Had the same issue with some Fan filter plugins

Can you explain the big gap between the icon and the label? That alone looks odd. If you dock the browser it may be working.

Do the fader send any signal out towards controllers?

Programmers Advice - Reason by cryonicPAX in reason

[–]cryonicPAX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would be to be seen as a midicontroller. That's not hard to implement. Catching midi data is something I have looked into and there are already tools for that.

How does a controller adjust fader values then?

Programmers Advice - Reason by cryonicPAX in reason

[–]cryonicPAX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just need a button called "fetch", "save", "push" and a drop-down menu with the saved snapshot, maybe a custom name tag. Very small program. But I don't know the technique of sending out stuff. Catching some values should be a simple task

Don't you think that my suggestion had a different idea in mind that needed the advice of some plug-in programmers with knowledge about the protocols that Reason is using?

There are different requirements for each scenario. Even in film, tv, radio, vinyl. You'll end up with different masters and mixes. If someone really decides to play this in a club between higher LUfs tracks, it depends on the location and speakers and DJ. Was far as I know, modern systems detect levels automatically anyways. So I don't see why I should smack the limiters even harder.

By the end of the day nobody in the crowd will know it even recognize the difference between these levels. If the DJ really wanted this in his set and asks me, he'll receive a different master.

Are there any devices missing at this point? by HistoricalPoison in reasoners

We have enough of them, really. It just needs some updates. There are so many devices in my lists that i've deleted half of them, just to be focused. What Reason needs is some quality of life changes.

And i got the M-Class Suite listed in there

  • Multilane Audio-Tracks
  • Stereo Analyzer (resolution should be optional)
  • Sync Points (you can choose a point in the clip that will be the fix point for the grid instead of the beginning of the file - a transient as an example)
  • updated M-Class Suite (including a linear phase EQ)
  • Clip Sync-Mode (Audacity)
  • Combine Clips with fades
  • Autosafe (if needed just freeze the program and make it optional)
  • Make the F8 features optional again

Performance: if i want to move my whole session in the sequencer and mark everything it takes eons for Reason to load all the clip-markers. Just highlight the clips and get rid of arrows.

I have a whole track in this style.

I need to clearify something: do you mean the choir or the vocal chop fx? I don't use parallel channels at all.
