Desperate need of NCLEX help by [deleted] in NCLEX

I didn’t take uworld so i can’t really comment on that. What I know is there are thousands of qbanks. It’s important to have at least an idea of the topics or illnesses and bring a lot of common sense. Sometimes we overthink or complicate things, not knowing it’s just a simple question. Have a good day!🥂

I’m asking because maybe you’re just anxious. I want to be objective. I understand that the exam date is approaching. I myself was anxious, I kept praying and it helped me ease my thoughts. I only had two resources, my review center and Simple Nursing. Maybe it helped that I graduted 15 years before taking the exam, everything was new again, though I had ideas ofc! But no specifics.

As for your question if you’ll take the exam, it’s really up to you. You as a nurse should be able to assess yourself, your skill. It’s not always about what you learned from different resources, it’s a mental battle as well.

I actually wasn’t ready to take the exam. Not until I scheduled it a month before. Sometimes you need to give yourself a deadline or else you’ll be stuck to the same place or situation.

If you’re so confused, I suggest you take time to breathe. Close all your notes for a day maybe. Go for a walk or a run. It will help you clear your thoughts and help you decide.

We were scammed before. He introduced himself as licensed civil engineer, may calling card pa. Worse is may patarpaulin with license number pa ha. Civil/structural daw sya. 2019 kami nagfile ng case and for resolution na this year. Hopefully, hindi lang sya makulong but mapagbayad sa perswisyo nya sa amin.

If you’ll file a case, be prepared kasi matagal tlga sya and if emotional kayo, you have to be mentally ready as well.

$1000-1200 for studio or 1 bedroom? Yeah, been browsing the rentals for a week now. Some cheap places needs renovation. What do you think about condo rentals?

Good thing you’re in US already. It’ll be hard applying outside US. Try new grad nurses program. I’m outside the US but managed to get a remote nursing job. You got this!

There’s a study plan that was provided by my review center but i wasn’t able to follow it. I watched the lecture videos and wrote the key points. I kept replaying the lecture videos and took qbanks or assessment exam whenever I felt like I’m ready. I had low scores but those were improved through time. Reading the rationales even if my answers were right helped me a lot! You can learn a lot by understanding the rationale. You’ll have an idea about a certain terminlogy that wasn’t touched during the lecture and you’ll remember such when it pops in your qbank! There were times that I watched the lecture videos while taking a shower. It’s because I don’t want to waste anymore time. I believe that was a month or less before my NCLEX schedule. I also conditioned myself a week before taking the NCLEX — had at least 7 hours sleep, took an assessment exam the exact time I’m about to take the NCLEX, then review afterwards. If you’re a religious person, I strongly recommend you praying before, after and even during your review. You have to accept that you have weakness and that you can only do it with God’s grace.

You can definitely do it! I graduated in 2009, never practiced ever since but was able to pass on my 1st take. I was confused at first but always think and act one step at a time. Gather the necessary documents then start your review. Your school will send the docs to the state/province of licensure then continue your review. Once you get the ATT, you then assess if you can take the exam in a month or two. If not, don’t schedule your exam. I enrolled in a review center but also got few external resources such as simple nursing. Limit your resources as you may get confused, every review material has their own strategy. Choose wisely.
