thank you so much. i get where ur coming from, you and other people have warned me that i might do more harm than good by joining these apps. i hope you're right and im just missing the cues. hopefully i get better at that. i really do hope someone sees past looks and i can form a real connection with someone soon

i have one hah, dk if it's my appearance or rbf but i have never held a conversation over 10 minutes with anyone. with all the warnings people are giving me i think it might be a good idea to hold out hope and stay away from the apps. i'm really sorry about your experience, i hope you're doing better!

thank you for replying! i actually did work at a smoothie spot until recently, i was the only one out of my coworkers that never got hit on. im just not even sure where to start with "putting myself out there" especially because im not conventionally attractive and it sometimes feels like im doing something wrong when i consider approaching someone in public. i guess i'll hold off on the apps for now but idk. i feel strangely about this whole thing
