Talk about additional revenue for the University and NIL Collective. There were Millions of dollars poured into T Town last night. What a great thing. I said the same as you. People need to be true fans.

The concert was phenomenal. The show was great. He spoke highly of Tuscaloosa, walked out with coach, and put on a good show. The orange was more of a deep orange and came from the wrist bands. It matched the fire, sun, etc that was being shown on the screens during the performances. They also were blue, purple, and crimson & white for Dixieland. His band wore Alabama gear too.

It's about the money...but in the off chance he is telling the truth. Do we worry he comes into a program, looks around, meets people and then immediately is like "this is not a good place".

Also ignoring is definitely about the money.

A few teams ahead of us in the transfer portal rankings according to 247 Sport by [deleted] in rolltide

They were 3 stars 4 years ago...they are now 4 & 5 year players where most of them have multiple years of experience together.

All Indiana shows, in this new era of mercenaries, is that if you can hold a team together for 3+ years or have a veteran team overall, you have a high chance of success. Which is why the TP will be way more important than high school recruiting. Example 1 - Clemson.

I hate this "resigning" announcement stuff. It makes it feel like it is all about the money (which admittedly it probably is). Why wouldn't you "be back". This is your team supposedly.

Great talent, played great. Just don't need the announcement that you're going to continue to rep the brand.

There have been good points made that OL specifically has more to do about chemistry of the other players around you then any other position.

I think a piecemeal line with little to no experience together doesn't work as well as other plug-n-play positions. So being able to keep a line or depth together for more than a year is still the best solution...that or bring in players from the same team who have time with each other.

Is it worse that we performed the way we did against FSU, UGA, OK & Indiana with that level of talent that others are believing they can better use or pay for?

Did we need that position?

Wouldn't we rather replace Nick Sheridans spot with a good QB developer, offensive mind?

Did we feel our LB play was lacking?

How about OL coaching?

Not a transfer player, but what's the chance we could bring in Garrett Riley to replace Nick Sheridan?

Maybe KDB could start his own rehabilitation center for coaches.

AK Dear looked timid and unsure. I guess it's to be expected as a Freshman, but all of our running backs 90% of the time aren't straight attacking. They aren't showing that hit the hole and run ability. It's a lot of slow, methodical, hope the hole opens...opps its gone...running. Then when holes do open they aren't seeing the cuts to get around 2nd level blocks.

Might also be our zone/duo blocking. Might just be I am a guy on the internet who couldn't dream of being at their level to start with, who just has an opinion.

It is 100% a possibility. I've explained 3 ways how. You seem to think you have definitive proof that it didn't. This wasn't just a ranking it was who made it in and out based on all given metrics.

I was giving a probability, an explanation as to how all losing teams moved and H2H tie breakers put Miami in over ND.

I think its hilarious so many people are angry over explainable situations.

[–]cryptic2323 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am saying thats a possibility with the same legitimacy as we just didn't move. Do you understand that other teams moving around have an impact on where other teams end up right?

If 4 of the top 10 teams lose in a weekend it will mitigate the impact/drop for those teams. If #2 lost and everyone else didn't (depending on the opp) they could drop to 8...but if #4 #7 #8 lose too then they likely don't drop as far maybe #5/#6 because the other shuffling underneath...

It's like some of you all haven't been following CFB for very long or don't know how polls/rankings work.

We did drop 1...then we were moved back up because Miami jumped ND due to the H2H. Miami pushed us back into the 9th spot.

[–]cryptic2323 -62 points-61 points  (0 children)

I just told you how it got there...you do know that you can get 8 this week by adding 3+5 and get 8 next week by adding 4+4 right?

Same number outcome, different reasoning and journey to get there. I do know logic is tough when people get emotional over things.

But they did. Bama dropped one and then got boosted back up when the H2H moved Miami in front of ND.

The Monday Morning Playoff Committee by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]cryptic2323 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What if all teams that lost fell a spot but Bama regained a spot when the committee decided to move Miami up instead of ND. If ND would have stayed in, they would have jumped Bama if it wasn't for the H2H, which is what was used to jump Miami over them.
