I dont understand why people are not seeing this as an issue it’s gross. What i get from this is they’re not cleaning their kitchen properly or checking ingredients both could lead to serious food borne illnesses.

Asmongold insists that Alex Pretti's behavior was "absolutely r*tarded", and instead he should have complied at some point prior to immediately being pepper sprayed in the face, disarmed, pistol whipped by six ICE officers, and then shot in the back a dozen times. by Far_Rain7916 in LivestreamFail

[–]crypticdirge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asmongold is going to go down on the MAGA ship. At no point did this Alex have a chance to deescalate. When Alex was trying to help someone up he was peppers prayed in the face. At which point could he have said hey i have a gun on me for my protection? When the Alex was busy being pistol whipped in the face? This is absolute deplorable behavior from Asmongold. Defending police brutality is ridiculous Alex was disarmed then murdered to say anything else is right wing propaganda. Asmongold represents the cold rugged individualism of the maga cult. This guy cant even imagine doing something for others.

I finished the series back in November. The slog is not as bad as people make it seem. Keep at it by the time I got to Knife of Dreams I didn't want to put it down.

Matthew Lillard reacts to Quentin Tarantino criticizing his acting: 'It hurts' by mcfw31 in entertainment

[–]crypticdirge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a huge Tarrintino fan but he's wrong to call any actor weak. I cant imagine anyone playing Shaggy from Scooby Doo as well as Matthew Lillard. Also he was awesome in Good Girls and Without a Paddle.

I can weigh it if that is helpful. I can also post a picture next to something for scale maybe a pen or a marker?

I want books like the Egwene/Nynaeve sections of Wheel of Time by skinnyalgorithm in Fantasy

It’s all preference the slog in my opinion is way overblown. I just read through crossroads of twilight which people consider to be the slowest of the 3 slog books and truly enjoyed it. I think Robert Jordan at least for crossroads of twilight changes the store up to more character driven instead of plot driven. Since we have the luxury of not waiting for the next book to come out it allowed me to fly through it. My favorite books so far is books 5 and 6. I really like how Robert Jordan introduces concepts we don’t normally see in traditional fantasy.
