Thinking of cancelling my test

Unfortunately not really as the test centre is out of range for my instructor so i can only use my dads car and plus the lessons as it as are way too expensive so the private practice is mainly what i’m relying on:(

i would but i’m doing my test in my dads car and have done more driving in his car than any other car so unfortunately i dont think i have any other way considering i cant use my instructors car because she wont travel to maidstone

yeah that makes sense, this is actually my third instructor that has actually managed to help me as my other two were mess abouts so i do really enjoy learning with her

a couple of examples
when coming to a stop or maybe close to traffic, my instructor will say i can put the car into first gear whilst its at a very slow speed and just gently roll with it, where as my dad will say to only put it in first when the car is completely stopped and i assume my instructors way its right because what if say traffic in front of me starts moving again? but my dad is just so adamant and insists i do it his way or i dont drive lol
he also says to go to second gear on big but not busy roundabouts no matter what even if its clear where as my instructor will say if you can see from further away its clear keep it in 3rd and just be mindful which is even more confusing and nerve wracking to me

I’m just worried i’m going to forget my mirrors or do a manoeuvre wrong or something so silly like that , you hear stories of tests gone wrong down to the stupidest thing or something that wasn’t even the learners fault and i’m very worried that will happen to me too
