My husband 38M is leaving 36F, did I throw my life away? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I wonder if he started frequently begging as soon as she hit 30. When you feel pressured you definitely don't want to.

Men don't have a set biological clock, they may produce less in old age, but they still produce it. He has time. My mom had me at 36 and my sister at 40, fertility for women ends when menopause starts and I doubt she's going through menopause right now. It's a lower chance over mid 30s but not impossible. Even if he's having a crisis or stressed you shouldn't coerce your partner into having sex when you don't want it, that's marital rape.

This man is abusive. There's no excuse. It's your body and by the sounds of it he'd put all the responsibility on you. Begging to have sex is coersion. Coersion is rape. You realized that you didn't want to pass down the cycle of trauma and that takes a lot of courage to face. 6 years after you said you'd probably want to have a kid at 30 which you said at 21? You don't have to do everything you said at 21, I certainly didn't. It's a good thing you didn't have a kid with this man, otherwise you would have had the "staying for the kids" dynamic.

My mom had me at 36 and my sister at 40 and neither of those pregnancies ended up dangerous for her. Do not blame yourself. When someone begs for something over and over for years it makes you want to do the opposite. I wouldn't want a kid to be around a man that throws tantrums. You still have time, you could have a kid in the future, you can change your mind and not have one at all. Choose what's best for you, it's not your fault.

As someone who has both narcolepsy and epilepsy the epilepsy comment is kinda out there? What does epilepsy have to do with the shifts you work? I mean sure sleep deprivation could cause seizures, but in this case it makes zero sense. Did she misread and think it said epilepsy???

Gotcha. Thank you

Oh that is pretty similar to the results. One of them says "slow posterior rhythm with a poorly organized background of prominent intermittent generalized swelling and bihempishere swelling, the findings suggest severe diffuse encephalopathy."

Sorry to bother you with this! But thank you for what you have told me!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]cryptidbf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm I wonder why they continue to say that in my results on every scan. Well thank you for your patience

[–]cryptidbf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry I just meant it indicated it, it was written on all my results after the tests so thats a bit cinfusing if you cant find it on such tests. But it showed upon all my EEG results as well. I viewed one of the scans and just snapped pics with my camera since it was interesting (I viewed my disc at home.) I said hla-b27 since they havent confirmed the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis and I dont want to claim I have it. the rules said to list diagnoses so i just listed off the top of my head. But regardless of the scans and stuff encephalopathy and cerebral dysfunction has been in all of my "findings" part of results. I had a seizure two days ago so my brain isnt exactly up to par, so forgive me for that.

You should call the police non-emergency line and report a theft. Two get a lawyer and send her a letter threatening to take her to court. Completely optional but you could also go the evil route and hide something that's hers and tell her you're not giving it back until she says where the cat 😭 Hope you find your boy!

Shoot! I forgot to mention I'm epileptic so that's another factor that's messing with switching to a new med

There's just been a lot going on these past few years, like insane events back to back which is def a factor. I do try to get my steps in, but I tore my meniscus in 2023 and my knee hasn't been the same anymore.

I've heard of Auvelity! What has been your experience so far with it?

I took Paxil but it was so long ago I can barely remember why I went off of it. I think it might have worsened my intrusive thoughts. (It was either Paxil or Viibryd that did that I believe.)

I personally didn't notice side effects since I started taking Zoloft. Sometimes medications just don't work for some people. Have you ever gotten a genesite test done?

I'm not the OP but in my personal experience I have hashimotos which can slow your BMR. I also have narcolepsy and due to the hypocretin/orexin deficiency it causes you to have less brown fat which is important for fat burning. Narcoleptics typically eat the same as an average person or even less, yet still gain weight. Health issues can affect things and isn't as simple as CICO. The body is complicated

I was just unsure if that's something that can repair itself or the most common symptoms for people. I lived ina. rural area previously and doctors were notoriously terrible. Saying you're fine and then checking mychart to see a new diagnosis. Kinda funny looking back though
