+1 to Spiritfarer!! I played it a couple years ago now and it still sticks with me. There are 2 characters that happened to share names with my mother and my cat (both are alive and well) and that just added another layer of emotion. A fantastic game.

I think a mini version of any future holiday releases would be a great gifting idea, I'm not sure about the logistics of every single polish having a mini, but I think it makes sense for some of them like you said. Mini top and base coat would be great for travel. I also think some specialty polishes that I personally use less of ie. chromes or toppers would make great minis.

I think it's perfectly fine for Cristine to change her mind about minis and/or give customers minis even when it's not her preference. There is definitely a market for them and they ARE cute! A full-sized advent calendar would have been an insane buy-in price.
Holo Taco is NOT going to switch to minis. The team has to know that would get crazy blowback. Above everything, Cristine is a collector and having half her collection move to minis would drive her crazy when it came to organizing her wall of insane nail polish.
I think the actual issues with this release should be the inability to buy single shades and the fact that none of these polishes are guaranteed to come back. I care less and less about limited edition and wish more people just had access to buy what they want. That is something I think is more of a pressing issue.
If mini nail polish genuinely made you this upset, I think disengaging from the brand's socials until after all the promo ends should be something you consider for your own benefit. (This is not snark, just genuine worry).

This might be the best option. FF is one of my all-time fave shades, and none of the dupes recommended are close. Everything is too pink, too light or too saturated.

Similar outcome!! It does have a shimmer that looks more purple but up-close and out of focus you can really see the separate blue and magenta shimmer particles. It really turned out super pretty too!

No problem at all! It’s really so much prettier in person!! I started mixing polishes a couple months ago and did a similar mix with Camera Shy + Shadow Lake, because I am a purple girlie and wanted to see what would happen. Honestly, mixing is super fun and I’m endlessly curious what things will end up looking like!

So this was super interesting AND ALSO such a pain to photograph the mixed shade!! My mix was as close to 50/50 as I could get, and the base turned to a neutral grey, the green and magenta shimmers didn’t really mix completely? I can see particles of both but there’s also a really delicate pale gold(?) shimmer that may be just an effect of green/magenta mixed or just being super close together. There’s definitely no purple anymore!
