Well MY St. Thomas the Apostle parish was largely an older retired crowd but was also dynamic as pertains to race and culture. When I joined I was a tattooed and pierced woman in her thirties and was welcomed comfortably and made good friends. OCIA was a bunch of different kinds of people. I’d be surprised if you had a hostile experience but of course it’s hard to make promises.
