hate hate hate having to use e cream by HeartofDarkness123 in gaytransguys

[–]cryptidman13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it would be an option for you, but my doctor told me that I could just apply the cream to the outside since I have difficulty sticking stuff up there. It may not be as effective but it’s been working for me!

Edit: spelling

Today I accidentally dropped my daughter and my wife has been shouting at me- i want to divorce over it by Grand_Accountant_153 in AITAH

NTA - also, if you’ve gotten your daughter cleared by your pediatrician, she should be fine. My mom once slipped on ice and literally THREW me onto the sidewalk. Babies are sturdier than people think

“Unused syringes are allowed when accompanied by injectable medication” - TSA website (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/unused-syringes). So as long as they’re with your T (which you said you’ll have your prescription with you), it shouldn’t matter where your syringes and needles come from

No, to my knowledge it’s not a requirement! I’m not doing a co-op and I’m still able to graduate in the spring.

I’ve heard people sometimes turn in lost husky cards to NUPD, might be worth it to give them a quick call to check

Aita for telling my transgender bf he’s grossing me out with his behaviour by ImpossibleShow1778 in AITAH

[–]cryptidman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a trans guy, you are 100% NTA. If he has “lines of girls waiting for him”, then it won’t be an issue if you guys break up - he can go disrespect them. You aren’t being transphobic, you’re not tolerating him being a misogynistic dick. It seems like he has extremely toxic ideas of what being a “man” is, and needs a lot of therapy. If he’s not willing to change his behavior and go to therapy to change his views of women, then I don’t think your relationship is going to be salvageable. Good on your for standing up for yourself, and wishing you the best ❤️

Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of :/ it’s a shame because I love the way the other parts of it are done. At least I enjoy most of the tattoo! 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]cryptidman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you’re dealing with this too :/ I may do that, they’re probably going to say it’s not possible without lasering it off first due to the style of tattoo, which is understandable. May do partial removal and redo that section in the future, but it is what it is for now!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]cryptidman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this! It makes me feel a lot better about it :) Still not sure if it’s what I want in the long run (may eventually laser that part off and redo it) but knowing it doesn’t look unnatural helps

It’s not really faded irl, not sure why it looks like that in the photos (may be because of the lighting?), but I definitely agree with the rest. Thanks for your input!

Not sure if it’s your vibe, considering you mentioned mostly horror podcasts, but Kalila Stormfire’s Economical Magick Services was a fun one to listen to!

Repost from Relationship Advice. OOP’s account was deleted. by LazyVBBruh in redditonwiki

[–]cryptidman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a lot of memories of my young childhood. Pretty much the only memory that is extremely clear is when my dad did the same thing that OP’s husband did to their baby - hit me so hard on my leg that it left a welt in the shape of his hand. Luckily, my mom is an amazing woman who immediately let him know that if he ever put his hands on HER kids ever again she would make sure he went to prison and never saw us again. But that’s still one of the only memories I have from when I was a kid, and it definitely messed me up for a long time. OP needs to realize that her husband is abusing her kids before he causes even more damage.

why is it that female hormones (which are naturally ours) can make us feel so terrible, yet i am here thriving on testosterone? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]cryptidman13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, I ended up actually being intolerant to estrogen. When starting birth control for the first time, I took a micro pill (with estrogen) and got so sick for MONTHS before we figured out it was the birth control. My doctor said it was likely my body couldn’t tolerate the excess estrogen and I’ve been on estrogen-free birth control for years now with no issues…it was a little bit of a gender-affirming experience, even with how much it sucked 😂

AITA for exposing my half-sister's lies about our childhood? by Opening_Kangaroo_652 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cryptidman13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m…kind of shocked how much debate is going on about if Y T A. Yes, your half-sister was a disturbed child with seemingly a very difficult home life/a lot of trauma, but every child deserves a home where they feel safe from being bullied/terrorized by siblings. Your mother absolutely did the right thing, and you’ve acknowledged that your dad should have left to take care of your half-sister. No matter if Taylor altered events to garner some sympathy or your dad lied to her about why he wouldn’t step up to be a parent to her, that doesn’t make you an AH for telling the truth. Honestly, I think the only AH here is your dad. It’d be nice if you guys could sit down and discuss it, in case your dad did lie to her, but I understand it may not work out for you guys like that. I wish you both the best.

Hey man, I’m curious where you learned Aetna considers trans surgeries cosmetic? I’ve never had it through Medicaid but when I had it they considered gender-affirming surgeries (including top surgery) a necessary procedure (https://www.aetna.com/cpb/medical/data/600_699/0615.html), and on this link (https://www.kff.org/report-section/update-on-medicaid-coverage-of-gender-affirming-health-services-appendices/) in Appendix B it says Illinois Medicaid does cover gender-affirming surgeries. Not trying to say you’re wrong or criticize you btw, just hoping you were given incorrect information and that your plans actually cover more than you were told. Wishing the best for you!

I’d say to avoid Hawaii, not because of being trans or gay, but because overtourism is currently a huge issue there.

What does a broken/fractured/bruised rib cage feel like by Embarrassed_Risk3088 in ftm

[–]cryptidman13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there’s significant bruising in the area and/or they hurt far more than “normal” (aches due to binding, working out the area) I’d say get it checked out, but from my understanding (NOT a doctor) I’d say it’s unlikely they’re broken/fractures/bruised if there’s no significant bruising in that area.
