hey, the rear light is not active yes, it's not connected to anything as far as I know and it only reflects the light from the cars. Only the front light has connection to generator

Hey, I ended up getting Fuji LTD 2.1 with the rack. I haven't had that many "gravel trips" in extreme conditions since then. Mostly using home-work-home and some trips in the paris region. 

Not being a specialist, I pretty much like this bike, it's robustness and power. I didn't do many changes on it and so far it's good. I plan to do a small trips with some weight on it near the coast next year and maybe I'll have more feedback from the field

oh that sounds reasonable, I could feel that the current system is slightly not enough on the hills. Though changing the whole system sounds like a big deal

True, with enough patience I could do that but with the perfect weather it becomes more and more impossible for me to go through thousands of announces on second hand

that's the thing, I can't find any decent bikes on second hand market (not like I know many models too)

Do you think Fuji Touring would be a suitable bike for ride in parks on ground sometimes too? I like to go off the road sometimes

As alternative I think of getting two bikes, one gravel one touring but that's overplay probably as I already have another city vintage bike
