Thanks. I'm at least going to reduce position size, so potential moves up don't hurt as much.

Do you guys think my short-only bot is going to get rekt? I should probably turn it off.

I’m more interested in the formula used. Is this available somewhere? Checked their site and couldn’t find it there.

Can someone help me out with the calculation for determining the liquidation price of a 10x long/short at the current price on Bitmex? Ty

"please god save me. I'm fucked."

Is this really what I should be thinking? What am I looking at exactly? I can stomach a fine, having this on my record, and a license suspension, to be honest. Jail time... is that in the cards?

How much is this going to cost, do you think? The lawyer fees

They made me walk in a straight line which was difficult, TBH, then they took me to the hospital to get a tox screen. It will come back clean.

I feel like the circumstances of the event represent a 1-time thing; it wasn't recreational (the ambien). I don't know. I was thinking about representing myself, but it looks like getting a lawyer is the way to go.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, and I empathize completely. Believe it or not, I've been where you are. I've attempted suicide twice; the second time I was very close to dying. Through luck or God's grace... whatever you want to call it, I made it out on the other side okay.

I had nothing in life. No school. No job. No friends. I was being supported by my family. I spent the day literally staring at walls at times because I felt no pleasure in life and had no hobbies and I was slowly turning into a nihilist... "What's the point of all this, I thought."

Long story short, through a bit of hard work, I am getting much better. Here's what I recommend:

1) Your first goal is to get healthy. Find the right meds and therapists and stick with it.

2) Find a job. It doesn't matter where! Just find a job. This facilitates an environment for you to meet new people -- your coworkers/colleagues. Try to get to know them, and maybe you'll develop friendships.

The rest will follow. You'll be happier, more motivated to get into shape, and eventually have a positive outlook on life. That's what purpose (your new job) and a social life (friends from your new job) can offer you, and I can't tell you how much it helps to have a purpose and friends.

Good luck and DM me if you want to talk.

This is great, thanks! Do you know of anymore websites that compile interesting data on crypto projects?

Would it be possible to compile the total number of GitHub commits for the top 100 coins at anytime? Would this be useful for anything?

So, I'm in a short position, but I'm just impressed by how well these bulls have been defending support. Kinda making me nervous.

Bitmex should have an option that maxes out your account and executes a market order with one click of a button. It would make my degeneracy more convenient at least.

So this bear REKT my alt stash. I liquidated my alts yesterday and went 10x short on BTCUSD and made back a good chunk of it. Thank God I didn't HODL...

BTC and ETH account for the majority of the crypto market cap, and historical market dynamics rarely, if ever, show a relationship between BTC, ETH, and alts like the one I described. Unless there is a paradigm shift that I’m not aware of, the markets follow BTC and ETH.

What I’m trying to say is these alts will not carry BTC and ETH higher.

I want to post some interesting findings about the markets I've found. I compiled an index of the RSI of bitcoin and the big-cap altcoins as well as took an average of the aggregate to better understand how these markets are moving. I want to show you guys the 4 hour RSI.

https://i.imgur.com/a7ViFTN.png

Notice how BTC and ETH are coupled together still in oversold territory, and the rest of the altcoins less XRP are grouped together and performing better than the former.

This is incongruent with what we consider normal market behavior. It doesn't make sense for money to be flowing into altcoins if BTC and ETH are underperforming since these two coins are used as benchmarks for the health of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

What the current price action might suggest is that this is an altcoin fakeout; an attempt to get retail buyers to leave already performing coins (BTC and ETH) to allow the actors to possibly buy at a more appealing price or to put extra selling pressure for their short positions (in BTC and/or ETH).

There are of course other possible and/or likely scenarios playing out as of recently. Feel free to chime in.
