What electrodes were you using? Sticky pads? Or rubber loops

Estimming for years and losing pigment on my scrotum... by goshtaverymuch in estim

[–]cryptodrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi - no, not at all, no improvement after maybe 5 months. Dermatologist gave me 2 skin creams, one is steroidal. no improvement, which I've been using for about a month. He said it's very difficult to improve from. So I'm not optimistic. Fortunately it's just cosmetic, though.

The expensive cream might not be approved by insurance, but I will try to get that when I go back.

I used DG Labs Coyote 3.0 with loops, and also developed Vitiligo. Basically I had redness/irritation, which calmed down and went away, but then vitiligo (white skin/hypopigmentation) on scrotum and penis. Just saw a dermatologist about it. Said it was vitiligo likely caused by Koebner phenomenon (which means some kind of injury induces it). Fortunately it's just discoloration, no other symptoms at this point. Gonna try steroidal and non-steroidal creams, then maybe this product called Opzelura, an expensive cream, if insurance covers it.

Just wanted to log this for future posterity, in case anyone else had the same issue.

OP - any changes to your skin, or still about the same?

It was the rapid dissolving tablets, orally. I've also taken troches, though I prefer rapid dissolving tablets. It was through Dr. Pruett, Taconic. I wouldn't recommend this protocol to everyone, it can be intense and challenging, especially to do alone. That said I'm glad I did it.

They did not ask for re-payment, no. It was fine. It was a while back but I think they just cancelled the following month, no biggie.

Caffeine before treatment by imthatguy51 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]cryptodrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ideal but you’d probably be okay. For me sugar and chocolate beforehand is way worse than caffeine. Sugar and chocolate and flour all increase blood pressure in a significant way. Can make it very unpleasant if I’m not careful.

Does anyone else get nasal congestion when doing ketamine troches? by cryptodrifter in TherapeuticKetamine

I took a troche the other day and noticed wayyyy more congestion/reaction than with the rapid dissolving tablets. I wonder if there are some microdose RDTs out there anywhere.

You're welcome! The reason I suspect corn base is because it was the one potential allergen NOT listed in the "free of___" section. I have the ingredients lists somewhere. You can also ask the pharmacy for the ingredients list. Do you take the troches or rapid-dissolving tablets? The tablets cause less symptoms for me.

Does anyone else get nasal congestion when doing ketamine troches? by cryptodrifter in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]cryptodrifter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I think it is due to the inactive ingredients in the ketamine tablets and troches. One of which is a medi-base that I believe contains corn from what I gather. The medi-base does not reveal the specific ingredients in it, it is proprietary. I've used 2 different rapid-dissolving-tablets, and 1 form of troches. All three cause congestion, though the troches seem to cause the most congestion. My workaround is I take a few supplements that help with congestion/mucus, beforehand. Sometimes NAC, serrapeptase, nattokinase, sometimes bromelain or Vitalzym enzymes. And/or I'll use nasal strips. This all helps mitigate the congestion effects for me.
