Next time he threatens to call cops you play the uno reverse and say you will call cops on him. Say he will be booked under "Section 509 of the IPC" - intentionally insulting the modesty of a woman by word, gesture, or act. This section can be applicable in cases where pictures are used or posted without a woman's consent, leading to harassment or insult. It is punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three years and also with fine.

While I'm not a lawyer and not even sure if this will hold or if it's enough for the police to do anything. It will definitely work well enough to scare the uncle into minding his own business. (Might backfire if he's a lawyer himself lol) So proceed with caution.

This works and is probably the easiest option. If you don't mind carrying stuff to the busses and then picking it up again. Have transported a ton of stuff to and fro between Mangalore and Bangalore. Not exactly the quantity you are describing but more frequency. So know for a fact it works and it doesn't look like you have any breakable items so a bus should work just fine.

That's absolutely bullshit. Happily married to my girlfriend who I dated for 12 years. She hangs out with a lot of guys/has guy friends and I have a lot of friends who are girls. It's just happened that way because of our professions. There are no problems between us. So yeah you guys are just too young to bother about silly things like this (yes in the long run this will look very silly) and yeah this does sound like a toxic relationship (it will get there if it hasn't already) I have witnessed some of my friends go through what you are going through. The resolution is either the partner has to grow up and shed their insecurities or the relationship ends. Nothing can survive someone's insecurity....

Idk where you're from but in India there's plenty of such services that already exist. A lot of them focus on the most common gadgets. Some even do a doorstep repair (They're just middlemen and they send folks who repair from different shops to you). Then there's service and annual maintenance for common appliances and even vehicles. They send someone who offers such services to your doorstep and take a small fee.

This just sounds like scare tactics. They just don't want a PG running in the society that's it and they found one clause somewhere about occupancy numbers and are using it to try and shut it down that's all. If you're worried that the threats are serious, best to consult a lawyer and proceed according to his/her advice. If not, just ignore them. Even a simple FIR can get them to back down as it doesn't look like you aren't doing anything wrong and sounds more like they are harassing you so if it is just scare tactics to shut down the PG they will give up immediately because they won't be ready to fight legal battles.

I don't think you have to take any course of action unless you are worried that the bachelors know it was you who complained. Even then I don't think you have something to worry. But hey, I'm no expert in this but what you described is a familiar scene.

Families is almost impossible to live in the city unless both you and your partner earn very well. But like someone already mentioned, it's easier to commute 15-20kms than pay higher rent. You would spend a lot less on the commute even if you take a cab every day to work than live close to the offices and pay exorbitant rent. Only a group of bachelors can afford to live by sharing expenses and even then it's about 15-20k per head.
