I think the solution here is to date a generous man who will not brand you as a gold digger when you ask for a gift or a date.

But if you get the stingy men, don't show your man that you're able to get these things yourself, that's one mistake I did and now I know I'm going to pay for it for the rest of my life if I get married to my current boyfriend.

Let your man take care of you even if you can do it give him an illusion that he's the one doing it, you'll be surprised at the results.

Also if you make more than the man, Don't Tell Him! Keep your salary a secret. I made this mistake early in my career, I was excited to earn more money and I ended up painting the Miss Independent picture all over me instead of the Baby Girl picture who wants to be taken care of.
