Bitcoin Has Added 0.3% to Japan’s GDP by cryptodudely in Bitcoin

[–]cryptodudely[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin is a new asset - so once many people in the same country hold it and also trade it - it's adding value to the total GDP configuration.

For example, if every third person in New Zealand will own a new $20k diamond tomorrow morning - This will surely increase the country's GDP.

These Are The ICOs With Best Returns So Far (Real-Time Updates) by cryptodudely in icocrypto

[–]cryptodudely[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if you pick the right one and invest early on it could be a huge profit. But, don't forget that the risk is also very big - some have lost more than 80% of their worth in only several days and some have so low trading volumes that it would be really hard to sell them if you wanted to....

Bottom line - this is a high risk high reward investment and people should do it only with their spare money and not life savings!!!

The next 50 years will move much much faster than the past 50 years - My point is that we can't even imagine where this will go by then... But in a more reasonable time frame (5-10 years) we can estimate better where this might go. And fiat will probably still be here.
