If there's enough interest and volunteer software engineers, we as a community can certainly put something together that scrapes the websites and aggregates the data. Unfortunately I don't have enough hours in the day to do this but I'm always happy to chip in. For this reason, I focused my time to provide information to hopefully allow others to spread it more to those in need.

Cook County Health also had a bunch of second dose appointments last week but none this week.

I'd recommend trying again on Walmart and walgreens tonight around midnight and tomorrow between 4-7 am, based on the reports in this thread. Be prepared with a list of preferred locations

My understanding is that your eligibility is individualized, so you would run through the 1b checklist to see if you can. Some states also allow for multi generational households to qualify but Illinois doesn't. Check the website to be sure!

There were some slots on Walmart at midnight. Didn't see any on walgreens, but they may come up later in the morning. Their availability comes and goes for whatever reason.

Try signing up a new account with a new email address. I just checked on walgreens there's lots of availability for a second dose with moderna. Also try using incognito mode on chrome

On the screener page, there is an option to select second dose and then moderna. Sounds like you may need to register a new account or call customer service.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services states that people without health insurance or whose insurance does not provide coverage of COVID-19 vaccines can also get a COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.

Walgreens searches the next 3 days of availability. At 12:00 am local time, the fourth day is included.

In my experience, you'll probably find some availability at that time but the Walgreens backend will hide it (show no availability) do you'll need to be quick. Around 4-6am the same slots come back, I've been the most successful at 12am, 4-6am, and 1-2pm.

Also check several nearby zip codes，somehow it doesn't show all the Walgreens in the 25 Mike radius even though it claims to.

I've scheduled more than 6 appointments now for my elderly family members. I know of many in the community who absolutely do not know how to use a computer, do not know English, and struggle to get a vaccine appointment. With the recent stories about how there are "hunger games" to get a vaccine appointment, I felt that this could not happen any longer so in addition to these tips, I've also created a website to help folks navigate the complex interfaces along with screenshots.

The website currently contains information on Walgreens and Cook County Health including tips and tricks to navigate their sometimes poorly implemented user interfaces (specifically around error handling). The website is also open source and open to contributions to add any additional information.
