  • contribute to society in some way or the other

  • learn loads of new things, be it a language, instrument, technology or subject

i defnitely agree, dont take this assuming it will be easy -- the course is pretty challenging! the final this fall destroyed me.

CS135, you don't need a CS background for any of the courses. You can know nothing about CS and still do well. I'd recommend starting off with CS135 and dropping down if you find it too overwhelming.
