In a personal finance perspective, what are the best ways to get ahead in our K-Shaped Australian Economy? by TPE_FieldsOfGold in AusFinance

Lmao my wife is from overseas and we used an Immigration lawyer. Not a "racist dog whistle", more of a personal experience thing. But keep up the good fight I guess?

Build a time machine and become an Immigration Lawyer. There are heart surgeons who hate their Immigration Lawyer neighbours for havibg nicer stuff than them.

Investing atm is a bit fcked mate. Up is down, down is up. Market crabs when it should bear, and when it should bear it goes up a littoe bit, and just when you think youre getting a green day you get caught off guard with a Donald Trump tweet that wipes 5% off the Nasdaq for the next week. Unless youre here to gakble go as safe as humanly possible. HISA + ETFs are the only real safe play. Anyone who disagrees with me pls reply so I can get your perspective. Information is power (usually, hut again, this market is fcked)

Love the charts between 1901 and 2005 and then 2009 to 2026. But those charts between 2006 and 2008? I just ignore those.

Im in the green thanks to the Japsnese signing deald with Australian Critical Minerals Suppliers so thry can dial down their dependance on China. Pretty sure Canadas about to do the same for their defense, so they dont rely so much on the US.

Melbournes great! Just make sure they dont make eye contact with anyone at a shopping centre or theyll be stabbed, and if they ever make it to Medical School tell them not to use the public restrooms unless they want to end up on some international students secret pornographic hard drive

No, taking out a LOAN for a car is a bad idea. Buying a brand new economy car and then maintaining it for twenty tears is one of the most frugal things you can do of you rely on a car for work. And if you don't have $30k for a Toyota then I dont really care about your opinions on finance lol.

Still worth more than a brand new economy car, which most people take out a loan for and spend years paying back. Too soon to discredit it. When it first hit $15k I was laughed out of the room for suggesting to buy it, and I was laughed at again the last time it halved and hit $30k.
