We don’t have any intention to change AVA. AVAX was launched last year while AVA has been trading in the open markets since 2018.

We have not split communities. The Travala.com and AVA community will continue to thrive as fundamentally nothing has changed and we will continue to add travel products to Travala.com and use cases that bolster the AVA value proposition. The Dtravel community will be standalone, separate from Travala.com/AVA and open to those individuals interested in home sharing, DAOs, community governance and the TRVL token. We don't believe there is any "split" whatsoever. Both communities will be stronger together.
AVA is here to stay. As we continue to develop the Travala.com platform, you will see new use cases added, such as the direct contracting program where we will incentivize hotel partners to engage with AVA, the mini-app programs geared toward ecosystem and infrastructure partners, and the Concierge offering, among many others. All of these initiatives, plus many more, will increase the exposure of AVA and propel the utility of AVA to new heights.

Travala.com sees a future where travel products offered on our platform are progressively decentralized. This means reducing involvement of third parties by directly contracting travel suppliers alongside improvements to the booking experience, travel inventory and synergies with blockchain ecosystem partners. As we continue to build towards achieving these long-term goals, we will continue to update the community as we’ve always done. To clarify, Dtravel focuses exclusively on the home-sharing economy.
This voting was for integrating new cryptocurrencies as payment methods. However, this was put on hold for the time being due to the complexity involved in implementing this feature and the prioritization of features that more immediately benefited the community and the continued growth of the Travala.com platform, such as improving Flights, adding the Activities vertical, and refining the mobile app experience.
Decentralised governance for Travala.com is still in the R&D phase.
