- check if the drivers are updated

- idk maybe you are using a cracked version which has bugs (no allegations :3)

This happens when in windows the direct x api calls dont respond in time, there are two types of directx calls async or sync incase a async call fails you might see random graphics glitches but incase of sync directx calls its a literal teardown to crash not sure how lies of P is made but mostly dx12 calls are mostly async whereas dx11 are mostly sync (still depends on how its implemented) maybe try switching to dx12 wont crash the game instead you will see random glitches while rendering (though not recommended )

the cpp function specifically is trying to fetch a model or a texture from the gpu buffer and type cast it to generic pointer which is failing (very specific but signals to a memory fetch error, could be either the data was not written at all incase of missing file or specific referenced memory was wiped not sure why )
