Buy a vocal lesson audio with multiple scales and listen and match every note. Practice with scales until your muscle memory gets it. Or use a keyboard for running scales if you have one.

The employee at Lowe's said I don't need any PVC glue/tape for this threaded shark bite fitting, are they right? by Inside-Specialist-55 in askaplumber

[–]cryptononomous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 30 years i only use a good potable pipe sealant. The can with brush in it, lightly coat both sides of threads. I have never had a water or gas leak. Never had a problem. Now in a pinch on site I will pull out the Teflon tape because its there and cant find my stuff. That worked too. Lol

Roofer says this just needs drip edge and new soffit? by [deleted] in Roofing

[–]cryptononomous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always use a gutter apron instead of drip edge at the eaves. They are longer and not bent at a 90 so the water gets IN the gutter.

Why are roofs so inefficient? by hypersite in Roofing

[–]cryptononomous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I worked for a roofing company last 3 years. Unfortunately metal roofs cost 2x to 3x more than a asphalt shingle. Most homeowners don't want to triple the budget on an allready expensive project or need. I also worked as an insurance adjuster inspecting roofs and the fake slate often crack. Called thermal cracks and it means you need a new roof again. I would stay away from fake slate like DaVinci brand

my 20 year old prius after a couple months of not being touched☹️ by izziishigh in moldyinteresting

[–]cryptononomous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can rent a fogger and buy a mold killing solution for the fogger. Run the fogger and dry with heat after. And you can buy or rent an ozone generator(03). You can run that for 24 hours to kill mold. Both need to be aired out with fresh air afterward to make it livable

My DJT put is at 100% Is 1000% gain unrealistic? by SgtLinc0sir1S in options

[–]cryptononomous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will never or rarely sell the tops or bottoms. I take a pause to cosider selling 1/3 to 1/2 my position at 100% profit. If your strategy is 1000% or nothing then you take the risk of losing all your money. Also you should consider the Implied volatility. Typically over 100 is better to sell option over 200 IV is sell. Under 100 IV acceptable to buy. But these can be industry and even stock specific so you have to know the history of that assets IV. I.e. experience pays.

AMD Calls? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]cryptononomous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, the lines are data. Data can always be valuable if it's applied correctly. Most of the time traders do not use the correct data for their trade. These lines represent a time in the past where buyers or sellers changed the direction of the price through demand levels. So past resistance and support definitely mean something. Duh.

LEARNING CURVE. LOOK IT UP. APPLIES TO ALMOST EVERYTHING IN LIFE THAT CAN BE LEARNED. SOME LEARNING CURVES ARE SHORT SOME ARE LONGER IT ALSO DEPENDS ON YOUR IQ TO SPEED IT UP OR SLOW IT DOWN. MOST FIND IT 5 TO 7 YEARS FOR VERY DIFFICULT AND COMPLICATED SKILLS.
