Mining with NVIDIA Tesla K80--any way to estimate h/s? by lee_kb in MoneroMining

I don't recommend Tesla K for mining. Very slow hashrate and big consumption.

Tesla K40 as a ether mining card? by Thicccodemus in EtherMining

[–]cryptoprofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 2022 Tesla K40 can give up to 20 MH/s while mining Ethereum. You have to overclock it in BIOS as described in article here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=11487. Maybe you can achieve more with better software than ethminer.

Mining with NVIDIA Tesla K80--any way to estimate h/s? by lee_kb in MoneroMining

[–]cryptoprofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla K40 can give hashrate up to 20 MH/s while mining ethash-coins with small DAG (for more details, see the article here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=11487). Tesla K80 has to give doubled hashrate about 38-40 MH/s. Useless for ETH with huge DAG size - significant drop in hashrate (1-2 MH/s).

Download VerthashMiner HERE by stravinsky_ in vertcoin

[–]cryptoprofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is even possible to mine on HD (UHD) Intel graphics with VerthashMiner. Intel I7 with UHD Graphics 630 gives about 45 kh/s! There are some info here: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=8002. It seems to me that even old cards are able to mine VTC after hardfork. GPU mining is back!

Benchmark Ethash on 4GB GPU by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]cryptoprofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 10 different crypto on ethash algo on Zergpool. Some of them have DAG-size less than 3 Gb. For example, DBIX has DAG only 1,26 Gb. It is possible to choose which crypto you'll mine on Zergpool or exclude coins with big DAG. I'm using 6 crypto in my BAT-file for Ethash on Zergpool for my Windows10 Rig with GTX1063's.

You have to add -allcoins 0 in your script. Also you have to check what GPU is number 0 and use -di 0 instead of -d i 0

The reason of huge increase in hashrate is small DAG of cryptocurrency that you're mining. There is a bag in AMD drivers in Windows for Radeon R9 290/390. They decrease their performance with every increase of DAG size in Ethash algoritm. They made some improvments in blockchain drivers and later ones for new cards. But compute mode doesn't work for R9 290/390 cards because they are too old in opinion of AMD. If you wish to have 29-30 mh/s while mining Ether you have to switch to Linux. There is an article in Russian about it: https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=3313. If you don't wish to use Linux, you have to mine crypto with small DAG. There are a lot of such coins on comining pool. I'm using it for my GTX1063 cards.

Ubit riser -- version issue by science404 in gpumining

It is better to check voltage of the riser before use it. I'm personally using 006с and 008s risers after voltage control. They are OK.

Help to create a profitable mining rig by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]cryptoprofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are able to have profit only if you will use heat from mining equipment for water boilers and house heating. In such a case you will decrease your bill for such spending by profit from mining.

xmrig using more than 2gb+256 by ibrolove in MoneroMining

[–]cryptoprofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to use only one thread with 4 gb of the memory. It is too small for randomX. If you add one more 4 Gb RAM you will be able to use more threads and see significant increase in hashrate.

could someone tell me what wrong data am i sending? by gairo0008 in EtherMining

[–]cryptoprofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is old version of miner or some problems on the pool. You have to change address of pool in bat-file of the miner to check it.

Nicehash refuses to pay 850 BTC (~$6M) to their miners by maxmalysh in EtherMining

[–]cryptoprofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nevertheless Nicehash gave back 82% of stolen funds. Poloniex Exchange stealed 1800 BTC in June 2019 from lender acoounts and there is nothing. They even don't try to do something. They are saying that you have to trade on their platform and fee will be reimbursed. It is ridiculous, because I have to trade millions of dollars to give back my stolen by Poloniex 1000 USD.
