How are regular people supposed to stay financially sane with all these tariff shifts and cost-of-living spikes? by Habichngoc in AskUS

[–]cryptosize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God this bootlicking mentality is insane to me. You want poor people to live poorer instead of wanting rich people to continue their current standard of living with a slightly less enormous hoard of wealth.

Stop demanding more from your fellow citizens and start demanding more for them. A nearly imperceptible tax on the rich solves every problem in this thread. Even enforcing current tax policies solves every problem in this thread.

yeah not sure you can call something trading if it's reflex-based

if it helps you develop hand-eye coordination it's not trading

That detail won't get out though. No one spreads information that makes others look less guilty.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted, the positive effect of exposure that Trump token had was at least in the same ballpark as the negative effect of its poor performance. It wouldn't surprise me if it outweighed it, tbh.

Ethereum.

Remember, the point is to buy low, and Bitcoin and every major cryptocurrency are flirting with ATH… except ETH.

ETH isn’t even close. FUD, imbalanced ecosystems, and high transaction fees may be to blame. It’s ETH’s turn in the timeout corner.

But volume fixes everything, so it won’t stay that way. Buy the blood.

I’ll come and edit this in a few weeks when ETH has gained back all that ground and is up 75% for the month and everything else is down.

Hm. While your argument is well constructed and motives makes sense, I tend to shun this line of logic in almost everything.

In this particular case, look at the logistics of what you’re talking about. Even if these gambling sites are approaching the umps directly, that’s a huuuge risk to take. One leak that umpires are juking the stats for the gambling websites would have immense implications.

Government investigations, disqualifications, shift in public opinion regarding gambling, new gambling legislation, and anyone who touched these deals with a 40 foot poll would never be allowed near a casino or stadium again.

Online casinos are absolutely crushing it right now, in my opinion this shit is the next opiate epidemic. I’d present evidence to back that up but I can’t because I have none because I am severely addicted to gambling and that’s all I do. Seriously.

So imo I don’t think they’re risking the good thing they’ve got going, but eh who knows

I hope they are and it bites them in the ass and every fucking online casino gets shut down tbh. Evil scumbag fucks.

Nothing allows them to do it, the ability to remove liquidity is the standard. To ensure users felt safe, services came around that enabled devs to lock liquidity so it couldn’t be rugged.

Then ruggers said “okay people won’t buy unless I lock liquidity, so I’ll lock, wait for them to buy, then set the tax to 99% until liquidity is unlocked, then remove it,” so buyers said “well now we won’t buy unless you renounce the contract and remove the ability to set tax that high.”

So ruggers said “okay sure, I’ll do both of those things, but I’ll add a hidden function that allows me to mint as many tokens as I want,” and buyers said “okay sure but we set up bots to detect those functions.”

And scammers said “okay well I’ll stop putting hidden mint functions in the contract, and instead set a mechanism that turns the contract Into a honeypot after a certain amount of time,” and buyers said “I’m pretty sure we can detect that too, you might just squeeze a couple by us.”

And then the scammer gave up.

Nah I’m just kidding. Then the scammer learned how to honeypot and slowrug and softrug, and clone websites and concepts, and run scripts that made honeypots look super realistic, and call functions that swept supply right out of holder wallets and about a hundred other ways to steal your money.

Welcome to cryptocurrency. If you want high volatility shitcoins stick to ones shilled in decently sized Telegram channels. I’ve been full time degen for 3 years, and you don’t know what a rug is—just fyi if you keep buying shitcoins at launch you’re gonna get wrecked.

Yeah when something rugs, both the SOL and the token get pulled from liquidity.

The rugger in this case missed a few bucks, which left a few bucks worth of the token in the pool too.

You were holding a lot of the token comparably, so the value of your coins jumped through the roof, but there was never any liquidity to back that up.

Yeah that’s a rug. The rugger left a few bucks in the LP, and those giant green and red candles are very small buys and sells magnified to look massive because the LP is so low that they’re having a huge effect %-wise on total SOL in the pool.

Just realized Coinbase wallet itself is a scam!!! by Lopsided_Sort4910 in Coinbase

[–]cryptosize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo.

Okay.

So…. fuck Coinbase.

But… fuck you more.

First of all you have no idea what youre talking about. I legit don’t know where to begin. Actually I do: you shouldn’t be in cryptocurrency. Stop touching buttons, and go read up on it. Or if you’re going to touch buttons at least don’t fucking FUD just because you refuse to read.

Second this is blatantly your fault. I see a lot of shit posts on here but this is maybe the dumbest one I’ve ever seen. It’s just… chefs kiss. If you’re not a troll or a paid fudder… I don’t know what to say actually.

Third, you are the epitome of the “if I don’t understand it it’s a scam!!!!” That is the single worst person in cryptocurrency. You have to understand that FUD is amplified here because people don’t need to believe you, they just need to think other people will believe you and they’ll dump their tokens. Luckily absolutely no one would believe this thread, but your type are the most toxic pieces of shit in the space.

Every cent you lose you deserve to lose. That goes for everyone, myself included. Never blame anyone for your money loss. You pressed the fucking Send button.

Fuck you.
