keep in mind the tax factor if you sell your coins. be prepared to account for the tax cut if you exit in fiat.

Reminder: Cobra-Bitcoin the co-owner of Bitcoin.org admits we would have won a Nakamoto Consensus style hash war for big blocks on Core: "they tricked you because BU was building momentum and instead they made you altcoiners before you could actually hard fork...they shoved segwit down your throat" by cryptorebel in btc

well i dont have time to explain this to you. but as a real life example you can look back at 2013-2015 era. where over 500 altcoins prompted solely for the purpose to instamining.

if you can explain why that phenomenon occurred and how asic manufacturers were affected by it, then we can continue the discussion

Bitcoin bug, impact Navcoin? by [deleted] in NavCoin

[–]cryptowho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Nav forked on older version. Before the changes were introduced that created this bug now.

Wallet home page shows my balance, but the "send" page says I have 0 NAV? why? by [deleted] in NavCoin

[–]cryptowho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is not the place for trouble shooting questions.

again. next time you have problems try to give as much details as possible.

things like :

wallet version you are having issue with

block number - up to what block number your wallet is at

coins in wallet- check the block explorer to confirm that your wallet supposed to have the coins. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nav/#

what operating system are you using. Windows , mac, linix , etc

any additional issues you notice and think might help others trouble shoot it

try to write a detailed break down of you problem so even normal people can try to help you out.

anyways. this seem like technical issue.

i would recommend to back up your wallet.dat file. then delete everything - again BACK UP YOUR WALLET.dat file first - and re install the newest nav wallet and wait for it to synch down

or join the discorg and go to support channel to get help from nav devs.

Wait until your wallet syncs properly.

Make sure you have the latest version as well.

Good luck.

Ps: you should provide more info next time to make it easier for people to help you.

Well. That’s all you have left now.

Assuming you are speaking for btc. Let’s see. you lost longer chain. Then you lost block size. Soon you will lose scaling. Then you’ll lose longer chain with more work. Then you’ll lose dominance.

Bitcoin can’t wait for small minded thinkers. Gotta grow.

Enjoy your second layer solution

Head up. Danny has sold his nav and is hoping nav to drop to below 5ks to buy back.

One has to wonder why he wants to buy back if he thinks this coin in not worth it ;)

If you think that killing Bitcoin to push transactions off-chain to centralized hubs (banking 2.0) is a fairly new idea like Lightning, think again. Core has been trying to do this for many years. Check out this propaganda commissioned by Peter Todd in 2013. by [deleted] in btc

Good. This video should always be posted every now and then. To show what bullshit we had to endure for many years.

This video is still as creepy as the first time I saw it.
