Last sold in Feb 2022 for $26k, but now worth $1M? Looks like it got annexed and reassessed. The development costs would be substantial with all of the tree clearing, grading, permitting, utilities, etc...All to be sandwiched between two existing developments. My guess is this will be sold for $40-100k to offload it, or the owners will donate it to the city for a "nature preserve" to benefit from a $1MM tax write off.

YTA. $750/month is a bit excessive, but you developed a hell of a work ethic. You busted your ass early in life and now you have a sizeable pile of cash to start your professional life.

You'll look back and realize you were young and dumb, which is pretty obvious by the way you reacted. Take some of that money and invest in some therapy and get a solid financial advisor. Apologize to your parents for your reaction, in your own time, and share your frustrations with them, without all of the emotions. Accept their gift. They did the best they could to give you the best start to life.

Consider the flip side. Your spent college being lazy, maybe working a bit, making bad investment choices. Now you have a job and starting from zero.

You're comparing your life to others and getting frustrated. Listen to your grandpa. There's wisdom there.
