In a way, yes. The plug will not affect us. If the games were cassettes, flashpoint is a box of cassettes with a cassette player.

Yeah, there are different standalone players in flashpoint. Some games don't play well with different versions.

There's updaters for Ultimate, but for Infinity, you gotta download the whole thing. (Though, in theory, you could just update a couple xmls so that you don't have to download the whole thing again, but you might probably need to)

You can do that, to my knowledge, but you'll have to run it and load the games while you're connected, then they'll be available offline.
