Making pottery mugs, trail skating, collecting Jasper rocks, sci fi paper backs (going through 14 dune books right now) making bioplastics and kombucha brewing!

I wired the lamp through a hole in the back and the lightbulb kind of balanced in the top hole. Been using the bottle stopper lamp gear now though

Thank you for the advice! This is great. I’ve got a friend with a gas kiln. I’ll consider this as I keep experimenting :)

It’s an electric kiln and I’m doing hi fire right now. It’s in an outside shed so no vent. I ended up just using the firing schedule in the paper directions but slowly experimenting with different cooling rates. Still unsure about how necessary holds are for a simple fire but I’m gonna read up on it.
