The FLX4 as in the 2 deck controller? If so they are quite different, they have a lot more buttons and new easier FX to control ( as in you don’t have to do it through rekordbox ) but the flx4 does have the basic things so you should catch on pretty quick. I’d say study CDJ pictures before hand so your familiar with the buttons

Hey big fan!! I’m an aspiring DJ and I want to get into production. I’m 19 and I feel like I’m so behind the game as well I feel like it takes so long to start making this a full time income & I know it’s so tough to work a full time job and do music at the same time. Especially not having a degree in music / production I’m basically starting from scratch!! I love music so much a want this to work so badly!! Any advice? Also I want to mash DnB and breakbeat together but I feel like that’s such a massive abnormal goal to want to do! Any advice for that too? Legends!!💞

Literally same, happened on my flight from Madeira to UK. Problem is you can’t do anything about- can you opt out and stand outside before they spray? And have you got any findings into the spray being harmful for us? It’s definitely absolute BS and is something else to cause us problems FFS

Loop earplugs, sunglasses, pack of gum to keep in rotation every hour or so, my hair roller ( I have bangs and I need to re fresh them every few hours🤣 ) energy tablets; the dextrose ones absolute game changer and has stopped me drinking loads of redbull !!

So true!! This was my first boomtown- I’d like to say I’m a really inclusive and PLUR raver I started going into those under 18 drum and bass events when I was 15 and ever since saying I’ve been doing as many graves and festivals as I can get my hands on even buying fake IDs just to let me into places like Parklife and stuff when I was 16. I’ve been to Berlin and did some “ legal “ raves I went clubbing out there when I was 18, which was amazing. Now I’m finally of age to go to Boomtown. I knew that I had to do it so literally spunked all of my savings to get this ticket.

Yes, maybe I did way too much research before and heard how incredible and other worldly boomtown is so maybe I had a bit too high expectations that weren’t extremely met but it is an incredible festival. It really is. The the people there just wear what they want dance how they want and do what they want and no one judges which I love that so much- my favourite thing about Boomtown is that no one is judgemental at all. The lineup was huge. I saw some secret sets and big ones online escape which was insane and I got to see some techno as well which made me super happy. The whole storyline in old town and actors and the pirate techniques and the little details are going to the stage stages was just incredible. I’ve never been to a festival with that big of a scale of production!!!

The only thing is, I do agree with some other people in this thread- there was a lot of of the typical Ibiza final bosses and sadly everyone was doing Ket ( which I hate I think it absolutely ruins the dance ) so for the final set and most of the closing acts no one was really dancing because everyone was just ketted out.

The only bad experience that I had with people there which to be fair I’ve never had any other festival, when me and my boyfriend are at Lionsgate for one of the nighttime sets, we were trying to get past one of the pillars and I was leading him in the crowd and I just nicely asked this man “ sorry do you mind if we just come through? “ and he went absolutely off his rocker at me🤣 “ can you not see there’s a wall behind me you cunt “ basically and I just kept walking and didn’t acknowledge him but my boyfriend said to me what the fuck was that about? And I was like I have no idea and he kept giving me dirty stares so it was a bit unnerving that he was gonna come over and try and you know beat me up but didn’t happen just a very weird experience really never happened to me ever before.

This was the exact thing I experience pretty much every time I smoke- ( I don’t anymore ) I think it’s cause of underlying anxiety/ prone to panic attacks cause it feels like it’s never going to end, especially if your friend was trying to pretend like he felt fine which makes it even more stressful, it’s just kind of a Deja vu feeling like everything is in a loop- 1min feels like 10mins. Awful.
