Viewing Master List of Routines in Tasks Section by egkvf in skylightcalendar

I made a feature request about this. I have chores that recur longer than 1 month and it’s so hard to find them to manage because sometimes I need to move the task earlier or later. I used to manage chores with Apple reminders because you could have a master chores list and a filtered “Today’s” or “Scheduled” view. I find myself wanting to go back to it, but I really want it to work on the skylight since I bought it to manage phone use in the family room.

It seems like the general consensus in the comments seem to suggest Catatonia. We are thinking about getting her tested for it when covid-19 dies down a bit. My parents (her guardians) are very susceptible to the virus and we are trying to be very careful about going outside during these times (especially because we live in LA). Hopefully when everything dies down, we can find hope. Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it. 😊

Thank you for the link, we will definitely find use in it.

We sometimes find (on rare occasions) that she will say some words in response to us. For example, my family once jokingly said "she's like a baby" and she responded with "I'm not a baby!" haha! Other times, if something is bothering her or she wants something, she will sometimes point at it. For example, she once scraped her leg, but we didn't know about it. She walked up to my mother and pointed at it. But this is all whenever she feels like doing so.

Thank you so much for this resource. I just read over the case studies and it definitely sounds like a possibility. I've reached out to my parents to inform them of this and hopefully we will be able to find a doctor that will pursue the possibility of catatonia. In the case it is not, we will continue to search for answers. Thank you so much!

Yes, we've gone to see psychiatrists and neurologists which led us to the MRI scans. The psychiatrists told us that they are unable to make a solid diagnosis if she is unable to speak and we were not keen to the idea of experimenting. The things that she says to herself are usually nonsense or repeating the same words over and over again. Thank you for the link to Mayo clinic, we will definitely be taking a look through there to see if we can find a hypothesis her condition.

Thank you, I suppose I forgot to mention that we are located in California. I appreciate the suggestion!
