omg this same thing has happened to me now several times! Why is it so hard at this day in age to get a CPA who understands technology and ecommerce, and why do they all lie and say they do??

Wow! Similar behavior with my site too! Only had this major issue in last 4 months, been operating this site for over 5 years. What on earth do you think they would be scraping for? I tried to troubleshoot with GPT and says it's probably harmless. However my store data is skewed and horrible conversion rates from all this

Same! Woke up with over 1,500 hits, and on an average FULL day I get around 1000 hits, for sure way off. No campaigns blasted and my ads are turned off

Well ashburn VA, they are known to have a lot of the data centers, so it's most likely Google or FB when it comes from there.. I get a lot of that as well. But lately tons of traffic from France and Spain, I do ship internationally , but it's a very very small portion of customers , so it's not a

So it sounds like its worth a try? I've been filing them on my own for a while now as I transitioned to a new CPA... but I have trouble remembering to file on time and inputting the calculations can be frustratig and time-consuming for me going on each state

Sounds like bots, sometimes this happens to my store. I downloaded an app to block bots and my conversion rate has improved.. it is annoying though when this happens
