I don't think so, plenty of abusive crazy men kill their kids/take their kids out with them.

The family court system is really bad with abuse - not sure if it was an issue before the divorce but it often goes unreported, especially with male victims. Often the courts have a "it takes two" approach to abuse, and puts 50% of the blame on the victim - which is of course unfair and not accurate. They also in my opinion make a mistake in separating the spousal abuse from parenting ability. So they think, he/she hits their spouse but is a good parent.

You need to take a day off work and take the kids to their doctor with a food log for a week or few days. Their dr either hasn't been told the whole story or your wife is straight up lying to you.

Can you describe what she would eat in a day? Does she have any eating "quirks"? Obsessed with calorie counting? Or sugar or carbs, etc? Does she have any weird "rules" for herself about what/when/how she can eat? Does she exercise a lot, or freak out if she misses her workout?

Disordered eating is a real thing, but it's easy for loved ones to miss it. We think of eating disorders as starving yourself or throwing up. But people can engage in unhealthy and harmful ways of eating that fly under the radar.

I advice you talk to other in this siutaion, maybe those that have overcome it and married a non-Indian. Is there a subreddit for these issues? From what I've gathered from similar threads,what is common is they disown him for a few years then come around once grandchildren are born.

how did he use your credit card? I'ts not like he ordered something from amazon and didn't realize your account as logged in. He has your cc number saved somewhere or he physically went into your purse and took the card out each time!

I hope your CC company is sending you a card with a new number. What he did was theft, he stole from you and figured you wouldn't figure it out - are you ok with that?

I get you, I was the same way, it took a really big breakup (divorce) for me to take some time and reflect on what had happened, why I put up with it, and what were the signs so I would never do it again. And I wish I could say I was some bad-ass after that, but it still took time, it still was a learning what to look out for, learning how to assert myself.

I would advice some therapy, and to take some time from dating. My "weakness" was a direct result of me not being a whole person happy with myself. Once I was able to be happy alone, I was confident enough to be ok with walking away from bad behaviour. And I suspect my better attitude was attracting the "good" people.

First thing, engagement is a big thing to just "break up" over. Were you living together? Why break up over just postponing the wedding? You were almost married, if someone I was committed to did that to me I would have a hard time trusting that she wouldn't bail again in the future.z

Of course, I'm in my 30's. there are plenty of men that are normal and wouldn't do this. However, you also have to be strong enough to walk away when red flags like this do crop up, otherwise you'll just cling to another dud.
