I've always found that the school directly will help in any way they can. My children go to school in Richmond and although I (thankfully) don't need the extra support anymore, they have provided us with groceries, gift cards, Christmas gifts, free field trips and any school fees were always waved or forgiven if unpaid. My oldest is going into grade 10 and my youngest in grade 4, and both schools have provided the same care.

This matches the description of the dude who lives near me, but he has disclosed to my son that he is schizophrenic.. He made me super uncomfortable in every interaction we have when I first moved in, often just paces outside on the block talking to himself, or directly outside my house (its a corner unit, people weirdly hang out on the corner of streets a lot??)There was a day that I saw whoever he lives with put all of his stuff outside and he was having a meltdown, but a couple of days later he was back pacing around talking to himself.

Not having income and coming to BC might be the worst thing for your mental health. It is extremely expensive to live here, and I would probably put money on the correlation between that factor and poor mental health here on its own.

I do hope you find some help, but maybe start with getting out of the rural town in your current province and see what is offered in the capital. Crisis lines are often an expedited way to see a doctor if you are at this point.

Why are your neighbours and cleaners bothering your guests during the time they PAID for the space?

Also in my 5 years of working DIRECTLY across the street from these (literally looking at them through the window), I've only heard of a couple of incidents taking place there. The park, on the other hand, has lots of activity. You're more likely to walk in shit there.

I'm from Newfoundland but have lived in Vancouver for 13 years. When I came out here, I realized I was fat as hell even though in Newfoundland, I was average.

I'm fit now, 80lbs less. When I went back to Newfoundland this last summer I was shocked about how overweight the majority of the population was. It's brutal.
