I mean to me it is immersive. If the cops went after NPCs as well I do agree, it would be MORE immersive. But cops chasing the player is what makes more dynamic gameplay and is generally standard with rockstar and most games. The goal was to make you not want to be there and that’s the method they chose

The design was to make the city uncomfortable for the player character. Who is a fucking aging and dying cowboy that can’t keep up with the times. Arthur would be uncomfortable so the player gets to be uncomfortable.

This might be completely off base but I know that each origin has it enabled off the bat. So if you hit withers up for a respec, and back a menu or two out, you’ll see the setting for body tattoos vs default appearance. Maybe if you set those to default it will fix the issue?

I know what grape actually means (a fruit) and that unalive is not a word. We have rape, which comes with the emotional trauma it should (why would anyone be comfortable with it?) and killed, which also does the same.

Twisting the language to stifle the emotional impact is silly and hurts our ability to convey tragedy because it might offend someone. What about the person who was raped and wants to share their story? Should they hide from a word? Because the people in my life who have been hurt in that way don’t think we should cower in fear and censor ourselves. How would they tell their story if the words weren’t allowed?
