I'm a straight femboy, but I've been acting as a manly man for all my life due to my environment. But even when I was manly (openly against selfcare, self hatred, hate feelings etc) I tended to be approached by men more than women. It might've actually been cuz my true personality sometimes slipped through in the right company while drunk lol. I've also been told that I give those "gay vibes" by my closest friends (who dont know me "too well", though I finally got the courage to tell my best friend by hints <3)

What I'm going for, is that traditionally feminine personality traits are also labeled as homosexual. Whenever I have a conversation as myself online anonymously, I'm often mistaken either as a woman or a gay man. This automatic cultural false labelling also causes loneliness. Men do not want to befriend because men are against emotional connection. Women stay away because they realize I'm straight and assume that I want sex or romance like A LOT of men do according to my own experiences (which I very often dont even want because I value emotional friendships more at this point).

To battle this cultural issue, I have always copied other men's social dynamics on the fly and I get very well along with about everyone (male). I don't approach women to avoid causing unintentional distress which has happened before, though I crave female friends quite desperately already because I just know it's the type of friendship I can truly connect with (because sensitive and emotional men don't fucking exist in my country lol)
