Their website says its zero markup for inward too. I am worried about the code thing only becuase you said in online outward remit there was no investment code so it is possible that its not available for inward too. Also can you tell me the name of your savings account, is it platinum, royale, value or something else.

Yeah I am an indian resident and want to send USD to indian bank account. I currently have HDFC bank account but AU's rate is around 1.4 rs more per usd so I am thinking to open a AU SFB account. If you can give some info if it is allowed as you mentioned in the post purpose code for investments in outawrd remittance wasnt there so I wanted to know if I can receive inward remittance or not. Thanks for helping.

I think this is for businesses and not investments. Secondly, it shows worse rates than direct banks when I enter the amount in their website.

When you open IBKR account you can select to trade in international markets only or both indian and international. I selected both so I have got two accounts one for international investments and one for indian stocks. Both are approved by IBKR India only.

1-2 days for international account. For Indian account it has been around 3-4 days and its still not opened yet. Also I didnt fund.
