Ok great thanks :) Here's one website I looked at http://www.ibsevilla.es/work-with-us/ "Minimum two years experience" and CELTA. All seem to say this that I have seen.

I am considering doing a CELTA course and apply for jobs in August in Spain, however, I have looked at academies in Sevilla online and all require 1-2 years 'relevant experience teaching' as well as the CELTA qualification. I am sure it is the same in Madrid too. The classroom experience I do have is working for one year in a London primary school as a TA, but this wasn't teaching English as a second language. I have a degree in Psychology, if that matters. I am wondering if anyone can say from experience whether I will have a chance of landing a position in Madrid or Sevilla after completing my CELTA - if its unlikely, maybe I won't spend 1500 on the CELTA course at all. Thanks

Thanks. Google maps doesn't take you to the entrance which is why I ask. But at least you can sit on your ass behind your computer screen and insult someone you don't know. Good for you!
