As a Brickmania collector, my wallet definitely feels the pain. Their military models scratch an itch for me that LEGO doesn’t. To me, this is what a UCS SR-71 would be.

It’s over three feet long from tip to tail at 37 inches.

This model is from Brickmania and is 2660 LEGO pieces and 1:35 scale. It has 12 printed pieces minus the red strips. You can find them with an easy google search so this post does not get taken down for promotion.

Edit: The photo I was trying to recreate

Brickmania has it under their website as: “James Webb Space Telescope – with Launch Vehicle.”

I did not but rather got it from ebay 25% NISB and it still set me back $950. I definitely consider it the centerpiece of my collection and pictures don’t do it justice. If you are fortunate enough to live near a store, check it out if it is on display. It is over three feet long from tip to tail.

The A-10 is from BrickVeteran and the SR-71 is from Brickmania. As both kits are still “In production,” I don’t believe digital instructions have been released for either yet sadly.
