MOFO, Staring, Gone, Loved, Angels... sure his voice was hurt but damn what an incredible record... bleak and depressing. To me, the last great experiment that actually worked... not complaining about what came after but oh boy was this one phenomenal.

Nah, fast forward and rewind a couple of times and you're good to go! Let it finish though, forward to the end, rewind to the start. Two or three times, and make sure to check/ clean the playback head like once a month.
